We praise zoos that are proactive about animal welfare and environmental enrichment,
and strongly criticize those that are passive about animal welfare and environmental enrichment,
and demand that animal welfare be implemented.
*Environmental enrichment is a measure to reduce
their mental and physical stress and have them live a happy life from the standpoint of an ape,
not from a human convenience or emotion.
Among them,
foraging enrichment (installing puzzle feeders and increasing the number of meals so that apes can lead a rich life) can be done at low cost.

スグルの魂の叫びを聞くと本当に胸が痛みますね。想像以上の過酷な状況だったのでしょうね。それでも生き抜いて、今は優しいギンパパと一緒に暮らせて色んな事が有ると思いますがスグルに会えた事に感謝したいです✨来年はスグルに会いに行きたいと思っています。モコイチの壁キックも可愛いかったです✨ありがとうございました🙇😊

お久しぶりです。一週間前に天王寺やら東山なり出かけてて、そのデータの整理整頓やその他の作業で色々忙しくて、動画なかなか見れていなかったのですが、なんか今回の動画はまた深刻そうな・・・と思い、視聴させていただきました。
アニマルショーとかの人による「奴隷行為」をされたチンパンジーは、成熟した後の精神面などがとても大変なんですね、改めて苦痛だという事を実感しました。スグルさんのことをあまり知らないのですが、重い過去があったのでしょうね。
鳴き声と抗い方がとても見てて辛かったです・・・可哀想に。
子供時代を楽しく過ごせたからと言って大人時代が苦しくなるのがアニマルショーです。スグルは、ギンと会えてほんと良かったです。でも、まだまだ救いたい多くのチンパンジーが日本にいます。
スグルさんがここまでひどい心の傷を負っている事、知りませんでした。観ていられませんでした。それでも一緒に居られるギンさんの存在の何と有難い事か。来園者の人数や施設の構造から、どう見てもスグルさんが心穏やかに居られる場所ではないですね。熊本サンクチュアリのような、チンプの心と体のケアをしてくれる知識の豊富な専門のスタッフがいないとスグルさんにとっては辛いだけの場所ですね。
パン君の娘のプリンちゃんがショーを引退となった時、調教をしていた園長さんの師匠であるベテランの調教師の方が、園の動画の中でアニマルショーが無くなるのが残念だ、調教も愛情持ってやってきたと言われてましたが、ショーを引退した後の生き方、群れの中で生活できず、独りぼっちで生きていかなければならない事についてどうお考えなのかと思いました。調教を通じて誰よりも身近に居て、気づかないものなのでしょうか。
私もXを見て呆れました。この人ですね。犬や猫に愛情をもって購入しても、引っ越しや良好などでじゃまになるとポイ捨てする人たちと何らかわらないですね。東北のモモちゃんもこの人たちの犠牲者です。経営者に手紙を書きましたが、無反応です。優しいスグルは優しいギンが救いです。

私は子供の頃にサーカスや動物ショーを見て喜んでいた１人。ごめんね｡
昔は、新聞、テレビ、大人からの知識のない情報しか手に入らなかったですから、インターネットは使い方でとても優れて言うと思ってます。子供が知ることは今でも困難ですけど。
テレビに出演していたスマイル君も気になります。移設後の新しい施設で穏やかに過ごしていればいいのですが。
最初は見慣れないチンパンジーに怯えたいたとのことですが、今は穏やかな性格のチンパンジーと、同じ空間ですごせるようになったとのことです。

I’m not sure like what all is going on but are they stuck in this house/enclosure 24/7?? This is sad.
スグルを見ていて、心から可哀想だと思ったんですが、そう思うことさえ人間の傲慢だと自分を恥ずかしく思いました。沖縄がいい施設とは思わないけど、旭山やサファリに比べたら雲泥の差。スグルは少しずつトラウマから解放されるといいですね。
他の動物園だったらキンにあえなかったでしょうね。子供や若者の大騒ぎ対策だけはしてもらいたいと思います。

That was the worst I've ever seen Shiguru I feel sorry for him and even more so that he has to be tormented by all of those rambunctious kids with no manners and their teachers in chaperones that do nothing to make them shut up!! I've never in my life seen kids that were so misbehaved and the zoo staff does nothing but put up a couple of signs that none of the kids obey. I think any school or class that comes in there and makes trouble should be banned!! I mean I've never seen Shiguru and Gin get riled up when no one was there what got them going?

Hi Great Apes,man this is very very very sad,poor Suguru,i feel sorry for this cousin,is not only me,Koko got so angry,she want it to go help Suguru,but god damn locked doors,thats why i love out government,when i was a kid,whenever circus is coming from another country,if they have in their program to do show with any Apes,they were cancled,anything to do with the Great Alws in general,we still treat them our relatives,so we dont out our relatives in circus and make fun of them.Period!that is not allowed no matter if is the greatest circus in the world,just a simple rule,we dont make fun of them,somehow somewhat they are still our relatives and we respect that,we try to expand tbeir life span,so they can live longer happy life,we dont try to harm them in any shape and form,Thank You Great Apes for showing the world what impact the Apes have after retiring from circus!✌🏻
